I can’t believe a week has gone by without posting! I hate not updating the blog for that long. I started a freelance job in an office last week and that, along with some doctors appointments and other work, left me with little time for fun stuff (like writing book reviews!).

Yesterday I posted about why you should take a winter getaway, prefaced with gross pictures of New York in the winter. On Wednesday, the sidewalks were covered in 6 inches of slush that had turned brown. Lovely.

This was the view out my window for the past two weeks. This was the view down my block on Tuesday. This is Williamsburg, which is currently even uglier than usual. Seriously, New York is disgusting in the winter.
