Thanks for sticking with me while I recap my Europe trip from the winter. It’s like Christmas in July – along with dreary gray photos! We had enough time for a stop-off between Brussels and Amsterdam and we settled on Bruges because it looked absolutely gorgeous and was easily accessible by train.

The long, long, long, long awaited second novel by author genius Harper Lee has finally hit stores! I pre-ordered Go Set A Watchman months ago and received it last night. I don’t think I’ll see much of the outside world for the next few days.

As I’ve mentioned before, my recent gig with Oyster.com allowed me to travel extensively around the Caribbean (I know, I know) and explore off-the-beaten-path destinations that I would not normally have thought to go.

I’m putting this up a day early, as many folks have a long weekend for the fourth (woohoo). We had a lot to celebrate this week: the SCOTUS decision, warm, summery weekend weather finally kicking in, and the fact that Ben Affleck will soon be single (RIP Ben and Jen).

This little book has made quite the mark in the self-help/home organization genre. Written by Japanese cleaning consultant, Marie Kondo, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up is infinitely better than the usual drivel that comes out of this section: How to organize your closet with fancy shoe racks!
